Government Polytechnic Etah is affiliated with Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh Lucknow and approved by All India Council of Technical Education New Delhi. Institute was established in year 2013-14 by Government of Uttar Pradesh and first batch started from session 2013-14 in only one stream of civil engineering. Later, two more streamsof engineering, namely Mechanical engineering and Electrical engineering were started from year 2015-16. At present, Mr. C. Prakash is providing able guidance and leadership to the institute as principal.Government Polytechnic Etah is situated 15 Km. away from Etah city on Sikandrao-Etah road. It is well connected through road.
The institute is well designed and maintained buildings, contemporary laboratories, spacious residential complexes and recreational facilities make the polytechnic campus one of the best in the region providing its students an ideal environment to hone their skills in an increasingly competitive and demanding world. Also, to lay emphasis on industry, institute interaction, to develop education programs and to better the entrepreneurship skills of the students
